Accretion Discord Bot

The presence bridge between your Discord server and Accretion

Accretion is a mobile app for planning gaming sessions in private groups. Members can optionally link their Discord account — and on servers that invited this bot, their Accretion friends see when they are online, what they are playing and which voice channel they are sitting in. That is the whole job: presence in, sessions out.

Adding the bot requires the "Manage Server" permission on your Discord server.

What the bot records

• Online status, current activity (game) and the voice channel + server name of members who have linked their Discord account to Accretion.
• This data is shown only to their accepted friends inside the Accretion app.

What the bot does not do

• It does not read or store any messages.
• It does not post, ping or run commands — it is silent.
• It records nothing about members who have not linked their Discord account to Accretion.
• It needs no channel permissions beyond joining the server — and it only sees the voice channels its role is allowed to see. Channels hidden from the bot stay invisible to it, so your server controls exactly what it can observe.

Removing it

Kick the bot from your server at any time — presence tracking for that server stops immediately. Individual members can also unlink Discord inside Accretion (Profile → Discord), which deletes their stored presence right away.
