Accretion — Terms of Service

1. What Accretion is

Accretion lets private groups plan gaming sessions: create events, claim team slots, ready up, chat, vote on times and track match results. The service is operated by Balthasar Höfinger, Austria (support@accretion.at). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 14 years old.
• Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Do not impersonate others.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account).

3. Your content and conduct

• Content you post (messages, group names, images, events) stays yours. You grant us the technical license needed to store and display it to the members of your groups.
• Do not post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, pornographic, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Do not spam, exploit bugs, scrape the service, or attempt to access other users' data.
• Groups moderate themselves first: owners and members with the respective permissions can remove content and members. You can report messages and users and block other users in the app; reports are reviewed and may lead to content removal or account termination.

4. Third-party services

Optional integrations (Steam, Discord) are governed additionally by the terms of those platforms. Accretion is not affiliated with Valve, Discord, or any game publisher.

5. Subscriptions and paid features

Accretion's core features are free. Two optional auto-renewable subscriptions unlock extras: Accretion Premium (per-user perks, including one assignable Group Boost) and Group Boost (upgrades one chosen group). Both are billed monthly at the price shown in the store at the time of purchase.

• Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period; the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your store account settings (App Store: Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions; Google Play: profile → Payments & subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds and statutory withdrawal rights are handled by Apple or Google under the store's policies and processes.
• Subscription benefits are tied to your Accretion account and end when the subscription lapses. Cosmetic selections stay saved but are only displayed while Premium is active.
• Prices may change for future billing periods; the store informs you before a change affects you.

6. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Accretion running, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of availability or fitness for a particular purpose; features may change, be added or removed.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are liable only for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, applicable law, or the safety of other users. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.

9. Final provisions

Austrian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence. If a provision of these terms is invalid, the remainder stays in effect. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app.
